Alfredo Contreras was born in the city of San Luis Potosí, S.L.P. He has published Tarea Poética and Preso estás afuera y aquí, both as a collective. He was a member of the literary workshop San Luis Potosí-Aguascalientes.

Pestimo is her first and only book, she currently sells books at the 16 de Septiembre Market in the capital city of Potosi. The first edition of Pestimo, La palabra es precisa, November 1980.
